I have information on the metal sheets spread out through several posts, so I decided to put all the info together in one post so it's easier to find.  Here it is.   :  )

Anyone looking for a good price for Metal? I recently found a great source for metal sheets. These work great in the cuttlebug and other embossing and die-cutting systems. You can acheive a unique look by applying alcohol inks, you can stamp on it with stazon ink, or send it through the crimper.

Here's the info if you're interested in purchasing some.

The metal sheets are 5x6 and the thickness is .003

The more you buy, the more you save. Do you have a friend that would also like some metal sheets?  Put your orders together and save more.   : )

Metal Prices:

Four sheets  for   $4.00 =  $1.00 each

Eight sheets for   $7.50 =   .94 each

Twelve sheets for $10.50 =  .88 each

Buy 13 or more sheets and get them for .82 each

Shipping in the US:

up to 12 pieces... shipping is  $2.25

13 to 24 pieces... shipping is  $2.75

(If you live close enough to me to pick up your metal from my house then there will be no shipping fee.)

Shipping to Canada:

Up to 12 pieces  $3.20

13 to 24 pieces  $3.90

Want more than 24 pieces? Let me know and I'll weigh it and get back to you with the shipping price.  : )

I accept payments through Paypal or with a US Postal money order. For Canadian orders I can only accept Paypal payments.

Ready to place an order?  You can email me by clicking on my email near the top of the column on the right hand side.  Let me know how many pieces you'd like to purchase, and which way you'd prefer to pay.  Or you can let me know by posting in the comments, but you'll need to put your email in the actual comment so I have a way to get back to you.    :  )

I have several samples using the metal, starting with the Oct. 23 post.  I will also be posting more samples through the next week.  : )  Thank you for checking them out.

Yay! : )  I can now ship to Canada.  Here's the details.

Shipping prices for Canada:

Up to 12 pieces  $3.20

13 to 24 pieces  $3.90

(If you're from the US... see the Oct. 25th post for the US shipping prices)

To make a payment from Canada you will need to pay through Paypal.  Click on my email (near the top of the right hand column) and let me know how many metal sheets you'd like and I'll get back to you with a total.  : )

Kelly S... if you happen to see this... I tried email you back several times, but it keeps getting returned... saying "delivery failure" to your email address. I do have the 24 sheets saved for you. Maybe try emailing me with a different address?? Maybe your server is down??  You can try sending me a pm through scs. Click here.

Here's another card made with the metal.  I posted this one back in May, but I decided to re-post it since it's another sample using the metal.

This was done using a cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the metal.  To make it look like aged copper I used the copper alcohol inks (actually the metallic colors are called mixatives, not alcohol inks) with a dauber.  I love how you can turn a silver piece of metal into copper or gold. Ok, I know you're not really "turning it into" copper or gold.  But I think it looks cool and it gives you more options with the metal.  : )

I'm so bummed! My metal shipment was delayed until tomorrow. Please check back then for prices... and hopefully I'll be able to get a picture of it too. : ) For today... here's another card using metal with a cuttlebug alphabet die-cut and alcohol inks.

Another fun thing you can do with the metal is apply alcohol inks.  These inks are a lot of fun and work awesome on metal.  I cut the letters with the cuttlebug first and then applied the inks.

Stamps: Season of Joy (Stampin' Up), Linen

Inks: Pretty in Pink

Paper: Pretty in Pink

Accessories: Metal sheet, Satin Ribbon (from the Stampin' Up holiday mini), Alcohol inks and dauber to add cool color to the letters.  : )

Do you have a person you absolutely love giving cards to? You know... the kind of person who considers your cards so special that they save every one.  There are many people I like to send cards to, but probably the funnest is my niece, Winona. She's a 4 year old princess who always brings a sparkle to my eyes. (And she really does save every card I give her.)    : )

Here's a picture of her walking down the aisle at her big brother, Doug's, wedding last month. See..... I told you she's a princess!  : )

And here's a picture of her with her 6 year old brother, James.  He's another one of my special sweeties!!  : )

I've neglected to send Winona a card for quite awhile now. (bad auntie)  So when I got together with some stamping buddies recently and had a chance to stamp a few "Lil' Cowpokes" images and try out their copic markers I knew I had to make this little cowgirl card for my niece.  (thank you to Joy and Daisy for letting me try out your stamps and copic markers!  : )

Stamps: Little Cowpokes-Casey, Stampin' Up Paisley and Priceless

Paper: Crate (polka-dots), Stampin' Up Bril. Blue, Ruby Red, Whisper White

Ink: Black Stazon, Bril. Blue, Ruby Red

Accessories: Copic Markers, boots charm, matpack, piercer, gelly roll stardust pen, leather trims

Here's another scs sketch challenge (SC144).  I'm really enjoying my new Season of Joy stamp set!  It's such an easy, cool set to use and it's even easier to mount it... because it comes die-cut... ready to mount.  Seriously, I had my set mounted in 5 minutes! Gotta love that! : )

Stamps: Season of Joy, Linen

Inks: Ruby Red, Handsome Hunter, Sage Shadow

Cardstock: shimmery white, Ruby Red, Hunter Green, Sage Shadow

Accessories: Stampin' Up buttons, floss, copper cord, copper paint pen.

I made this card for one of the sketch challenges on scs (SC145).  The front of the card is cut short (about 1 inch) so the designer paper on the inside of the card shows along the right edge.

All products used are from Stampin' Up

Stamps: Season of Joy, Linen

Inks: Artichoke

Paper: Artichoke, shimmery white, SU Wintergreen designer paper, Celery

Accessories: Moss Taffeta ribbon, copper brads, mat pack, piercer, copper paint pen, glitter, markers

Update 10-12-07: all these sets are sold except the "Santa & Friends" set. If you're interested in that one just send me an email (click on the email near the top of the column to the right).

Ok, I've been a pretty bad blogger lately, haven't I?!!  I'm in the process of looking for a full time job and I've also been super busy trying to organize and clean out some things at my house.  I'll soon be back to blogging several times a week.  : )

For today I have a few stamp sets to sell. These are all retired sets. Most of them have barely been used.

This set is called "A Gift From Heaven."  I mounted it, but don't think I've ever used it, as I can't see any ink staining on the rubber or the wood.  It retired a few years ago... sorry... I don't remember exactly which year.  I'm asking $20 + shipping.  (Of course there's no shipping if you live close enough to pick to it up.)

I love this set. It's called "Star of Wonder."  It's super easy to make your Christmas cards with this one... no coloring in... just go monochromatic and it's beautiful. There is no ink staining on the rubber, but there is a little ink on the edge of the large block.  $20 + shipping.

This is set is pretty rare, as it was only given to demonstrators for sales of certain amount (several years ago). It's called "Santa & Friends."  I cut out the stamps but then never ended up mounting them. So they're all cut out for you, ready to stick on the wood blocks.  I'm was so tempted not to sell this, because I think those 2 snowmen are adorable, but I need to cut down on my stamps... so it must go.  $25 + shipping.

Ok, here's another retired set that I really like. I bought it to do Christmas cards one year. I mounted it, but never ended up making the cards... so it's brand new... no ink staining at all. Mounted and ready to go. It's called "A Gift of Love."  $20 + shipping.

Do any of you need catalogs from past years? I have several. They are $3 each + shipping. Here's pictures of 3 of them. I'm looking today to see if I have other years for sale as well.

This is the 2000-2001

This is 2001-2002

This is 2002-2003

I also have some of the following:

2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007. They are also $3 each + shipping

Of course I also have current catalogs for sale.  They are $5 each + shipping.

If you're interested in any of these stamp sets or catalogs please email me. (click on the "email me" near the top of the right hand column.)

Hope you're all having a great Oct.  : )
